What we collect
Only what a booking needs:
- Your name, so the barber knows who is in the chair.
- Your email address, to confirm the booking, remind you of it, and let you sign in.
- Your phone number, so the shop can reach you if something changes on the day.
- Your bookings — what, when, with whom, and what it cost.
- Whether an appointment was missed — a no-show — so the shop can see a pattern of chairs held for nobody.
- Anything you type into the notes box when booking.
Why we are allowed to hold it
Your name, contact details and bookings are held because they are necessary to give you the appointment you asked for — that is the contract between you and RojBarber.
Records of what was sold and invoiced are kept because the law requires a business to keep them.
Announcements about offers appear in the feed inside your account, because you have an account with us. You can turn them off at any time from Account › Notifications, and nothing else changes when you do.
Who else sees it
Nobody it is not needed by. The shop and its staff see your bookings. Our hosting and email providers process the data on our instructions in order to store it and to send you a confirmation.
It is not sold, and it is not shared with advertisers.
How long we keep it
Your account and its booking history are kept while the account exists. Close it and the personal details are removed.
Records that belong to the shop’s accounts — invoices and what was taken — are kept for as long as the law requires them, which is longer than the account itself.
What you can ask for
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to a particular use of it. You can close your account yourself from the account screen.
If you think we have handled your data badly you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
